Hello irwinians,

I have taken off the assembly that holds my masthead halyard sheaves and discovered the thru bolt for the rear set of sheaves has worn the hole passing thru the aluminum divider plate into an oval shape. This explains the squealing noise I got when I raised the mainsail. A local rigger recommended using an oillite bearing sized to fit the bolt and just drilling out the elongated hole to fit the bearing. But I don’t know what it is or where I can get such a thing.
Has anyone modified their halyard sheave set up?
