Could you post them to this forum? I have 32' classic and am aware that my c..b. is approaching 40 yrs old. So any information that could help me when the time comes as surely it must would be great. v

U got forty years on your centerboard cable and it still works?? I would be impressed with that. I only get about 5-10 years out of my pendent before I have to replace/fix it. I will post the pics I have. I dont know if this site is ready for pictures yet.

Great pictures of the centerboard. How did you get it off? I have a 34 Citation and I'd like to pull it off to do some work when I haul out to paint the bottom this summer. Thanks.

I also have a '68 31'. Is your board aluminum or all glass? I encounterd an issue where the board would not come back up. I had to haul the boat and found that a piece of material used to keep the board from moving side to side while in the trunk and become stuck, sticking out of the trunk and did not allow the board to retract. I sailed the rest of the season w/o the board and will pull and fix this winter. Wondering if you had come across anything like this? Thanks for posting your pics and diagrams. Thanks, Bill
